CLIENT SERVICES
Public Policy
Ikard Wynne provides a wide range of services for its clients in public policy making as well as state, local, and national governmental relations. While generally Ikard Wynne does not engage in lobbying for its clients, it does develop and furnish seasoned and creative strategic and tactical planning and decision making in all areas of the public arena.
Anne Wynne has been an active participant and the “go to” person in these matters for 20 years. She was the first woman to serve as chair of the General Services Commission of Texas. Similarly, she was the first woman to serve on the Texas Transportation Commission. She was also an advisor to Governor Ann Richards who appointed her to both of those positions.
In the civic domain, Anne has been equally active and influential. She was chair of the Board of Trustees of St. Edwards University; president of Travis County Mental Health Association; president of West Austin Youth Association; served on the AISD Taskforce to reduce violence in schools and currently serves on the UT Longhorn Foundation Advisory Council. Working with Anne in this practice area is Bill Ikard who has focused his practice on administrative and constitutional law for over three decades.
Together Anne and Bill form a unique and experienced team dedicated to excellence with integrity in furthering their client goals.
